Wheeler,
Vice President & Responsible Managing
Employee (RME) is the heart of the
company, contributing his expertise
in the field of carpentry and project
management.
Prior to the start of PMI, he served
14 years in the Local Carpenter's Union
with Constructor's Hawaii Inc. (CHI)
and eventually became one of their
foremen for 8 years. Under CHI
he had been responsible for commercial
renovation projects that included:
the Western & Indonesian Galleries
at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, Hawaiian
Airlines Premiere Lounge at the Honolulu
International Airport, Avex Honolulu
Studios (Formerly TK Studios), Liberty
House, Mililani Consolidated Theaters
(first location), Hickam Federal Credit
Union at Hickam Air Force Base, numerous
island-wide YMCA projects, and a number
of State-wide Verizon Switching Stations..
He has taken advantage of the training,
knowledge and opportunities provided
to him by his former employer and the
union and he has applied what he has
learned to his construction company.
He has earned a steady track record
based on his expertise in the field
and his exceptional workmanship. He
is respected by his past and current
clients and more importantly by many
in the construction industry.
David is the backbone of PMI and is responsible
for: the supervision of employees; estimates;
coordination of engineers, architects,
designers and subcontractors; material
take-offs; communication with clients
and most importantly Quality Control.
He runs a quality establishment, following
codes and specs without cutting corners. His
first priority is to exceed your expectations.
Misty S.B. Wheeler,
President,
graduated from the University of
Hawaii with a Bachelor's & Master's
degree in Communication. She
serves as the Office Manager, Marketing
Manager, Human Resource Manager
and Fiscal Manager all-in-one.
Her foremost responsibility
is customer service and Public Relations
with clients, architects & designers,
vendors and subcontractors.
She is the voice of reason, able to
find a solution between the client's
and contractor's position without compromising
either party.
